Criterium & Draft Legal Coaching

Criterium and Draft Legal Skills Training

T3Multisports’s High Performance coach Boris has been coaching cyclist and triathletes in the development of road racing and draft-legal skills for over 14 years. In fact he believes that your skills on a bike are a key element not only in your development as an athlete, but also in your overall safety on the bike and for those training around you. His coaches at T3Multisports are qualified and available to get you prepared for this type of racing.

In 2016 the ITU has introduced draft-legal racing to Age Group in both Sprint Distance Triathlon and Sprint Distance Duathlon. USA Triathlon hosts qualifying races for Team USA for the ITU World Championship which are draft-legal.

The draft-legal component of age group triathlon brings a new factor into your racing. You will be able to use the slipstream advantage to help your run legs but bear in mind also that being in a group will also add a number of challenges as well. Athletes that are strong riders for instance may be very motivated to get rid of the good runners from the group. As such there will be a lot of hard efforts when riders make surges.

If you wish to discuss being coached for draft legal racing please get in touch with coachBoris. He can be reached at coachBoris@T3Multisports.com Coach Boris will be able to guide you through the transition to draft legal racing and bike handling skills. This can be done in a group skills clinic, or one on one bike skills coaching.
